Community Health, Climate & Livelihoods
Listen. Learn. Build Together.
Healthy communities depend on more than access to medical care. Clean water, nourishing food, dependable energy, education and livelihoods all shape how people live and thrive.
THE SHODIPO~ASIMOLOWO FOUNDATION is developing a community-centred approach that brings these needs into one conversation, beginning with our planning for Nigeria.
We bring a heartfelt commitment from the diaspora to contribute at home. Our starting point is listening to the people who live in these communities and learning from those already working alongside them.
Health Understanding
Clear, practical information that helps people make informed choices and navigate available services.
Water and Food Security
Connecting conversations about safe water, sanitation, agriculture and nutrition with community priorities.
Energy and Connectivity
Exploring how dependable power and digital access can support learning, communication and access to services.
Local Opportunity
Supporting planning that recognises local skills, livelihoods and the aspirations of young people.
We want to build on existing knowledge and initiatives.
Through collaboration with community leaders, health professionals, educators and technical specialists, we aim to identify where our contribution could be useful and what communities can sustain over time.
Together, we hope to define practical goals, clear responsibilities and meaningful ways to understand whether the work is helping.
Proposed Collaboration Concept
This is a proposed collaboration concept. We are exploring priorities, potential partners and a practical starting point. Programme activities, locations and partnerships will be announced as they are agreed and ready.
We welcome conversations with people and organisations whose experience could help shape this work.
Share the community you serve, the work already underway and where you believe collaboration could make a useful difference.
