Grace Accountability Roundtable™
One Chair. Three Signals. Every Voice Counts.
Good questions help communities grow. So do clear answers and honest follow-through.
A visible reminder that good leadership involves listening, explaining, and answering thoughtfully.
Red, gold, and green lighting will reflect participating viewers’ responses to one clear question.
Fair, respectful conversation makes room for evidence, different views, and meaningful follow-through.
GRACE ACCOUNTABILITY ROUNDTABLE™
GRACE ACCOUNTABILITY ROUNDTABLE™ is a developing initiative of THE SHODIPO~ASIMOLOWO FOUNDATION. Its goal is to bring people together for fair, respectful conversations about the issues that shape everyday life.
We ask questions. We look at evidence. We listen to different views. And we return to see what happened next.
THE HOT SEAT™
At the center is an unforgettable chair: crowned, flame-shaped, and finished in distressed metallic Rasta red, gold and green.
The chair does not exist to shame anyone. It reminds every invited guest that good leadership involves listening, explaining, and answering thoughtfully.
The same chair will change its lighting as participating viewers respond.
A future livestream will invite viewers to respond to one clearly stated question at a time.
Red
More participating viewers disagree.
Gold
Views are mixed, unclear, or more information is needed.
Green
More participating viewers agree.
The colors will reflect the views of people who take part in that poll, not the opinion of everyone or proof that an answer is true.
Every live poll must display its question, vote totals, and published participation rules.
Live voting is not available yet.
THE GRACE ACCOUNTABILITY PANEL™
A proposed panel of women will bring different experiences and disciplines to one roundtable. They will ask clear questions, review evidence, and give guests a fair opportunity to explain their views. Panel membership has not been announced.
THE NEXT TABLE™
Young people deserve to be heard on matters that affect their lives. THE NEXT TABLE™ is a proposed youth leadership and civic learning program with appropriate adult oversight, safeguarding and privacy protections. It is not accepting youth participants yet.
AFTER THE CONVERSATION
Accountability is not just one conversation. As the initiative develops, the Foundation plans to keep a factual record of questions, supporting evidence, guest commitments, and follow-up. Corrections and differing perspectives will be treated fairly.
Fair conversation, without political endorsement.
The initiative is nonpartisan. It does not endorse or rate candidates for public office.
