Care for those who care for others.
Grace for the Healers™
Care for those who care for others.
GRACE FOR THE HEALERS™
GRACE FOR THE HEALERS™ supports Black medical students, residents, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals facing serious illness, disability, mental-health crises, caregiving burdens, discrimination, or major life disruption. Through confidential guidance, advocacy, accommodation support, recovery resources, and safe return-to-training or practice pathways, the initiative protects the dignity, health, livelihood, and future of the healer.
What are you facing today?
We are developing a mobile-first support and guidance pathway designed to help healthcare learners and professionals understand what to do next when life or work becomes difficult.
Triage
Understand what needs attention first.
Stabilize
Identify immediate steps to protect health, safety, and stability.
History
Organize the facts, documentation, and help already requested.
Disposition
Identify the next action, responsible person, and follow-up plan.
Dignity-centered support for healthcare learners and professionals.
We aim to promote fair access to accommodations, confidential guidance, practical advocacy, recovery resources, and safer paths back into education and clinical work.
Support during hardship should protect fairness and dignity.
Accountability and grace belong together. Healthcare learners and professionals deserve dignity and support during hardship, without requiring other communities to lose protections they rightly receive.
Help shape a safer path for those who heal.
